Lesley Ann Brandt, born December 2, 1981, is an actor and model who has been featured in a variety of TV shows as well as films. Having started her acting career with the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came with her first role as Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress appeared in numerous television series over the course of the last decade, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies, and The Librarians. Since 2016, Brandt has been playing the role of Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy show Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt is originally from Cape Town South Africa, however, she relocated with her parents to Auckland New Zealand in late adolescence. Brandt began her modeling career in the form of advertisements and print ads. She worked as a consultant for IT recruitment and also in retail prior to becoming well-known as a fashion model. In 2009 she was cast in a New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. In the year 2021, her first major role came as Naevia the slave girl in Starz's Spartacus Blood and Sand. Her character, Naevia, was reprised in the Spartacus prequel Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three separate TV shows which include Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). The year 2016 saw her was cast to play an enigmatic bounty hunter called Mazikeen in the Netflix show Lucifer. She has played her the most significant role to now. In the show, she co-stars alongside Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
